Crystal Healing

My fascination with Crystals began in 2008. I was particularily drawn to
Amethyst and started buying different forms of the crystal. I then started buying other pieces I felt drawn to. I noticed that I felt different when I’d wear them, or hold them in my hand. If I needed protection I would use jett, obsidian or tourmaline. If I knew I needed clarity I would reach for a clear quartz crystal. To further my understanding, I bought the ‘Crystal Bible’ and began learning about their healing properties. In 2010 I completed a thorough program through ‘The School of Natural Health Sciences’ in the UK. Since then I’ve learned a lot about crystal healing and how powerful crystals are. For you to receive the most healing I’ve created a quiet room with a comfortable massage table and music that encourages you to rest and settle in. Crystals are placed on your chakra centers and around your body depending on the type of treatment. Each crystal has a healing property and once activated can bring greater peace, harmony and joy to your physical and spiritual bodies.

Therapeutic Touch Healing

Therapeutic Touch was developed in the early 1970’s by Dolores Krieger, Ph.D., R.N., then a Professor of Nursing at New York University, and the late Dora Kunz, a well-respected “natural” healer. Together these two women developed TT. Dr. Krieger is now a Professor Emerita of Nursing, New York University. Dr. Krieger continues to explore and expand the possibilities of Therapeutic Touch as she actively travels the world to share her knowledge and experiences.

‘Research and experience have shown that Therapeutic Touch is effective in eliciting a relaxation response, reducing anxiety, changing the perception of pain, facilitating the body’s natural restorative process, bringing about an improved sense of well-being, and providing comfort during distressing circumstances-’ (Therapeutic Touch of Ontario.)

As a Therapeutic Touch Practitioner I offer sessions to clients following a reading. Sessions are about 10 mins long and are $10. In addition I offer healing on a donation basis to seniors, those in hospice care, children, single mothers and people with compromised health situations.
