Suicide; How to Cope
Suicide is a tragic and unexplainable way to lose a loved one or close friend. It can leave the family with so many questions, fear, blame, and anger. Many people blame themselves for not being there for the person and saving them in their moment of need. It’s a downward spiral for everyone involved as the family tries to put the pieces together and understand what provoked them to commit suicide. When a loved one passes through suicide, one of the first things they do is apologize for leaving the family in so much pain. They always reassure the family that they are with them and watching over them. Spiritually I sense that they are healing from depression and thought patterns that tormented them throughout life. Many times they will explain that it was a part of them they always struggled with but the pressure built up and became impossible to manage. They explain they were not in their ‘right mind.’ They also share old memories in hopes of their family remembering them in a better light- as they really were in their happiest moments. As a medium I am shown the bigger picture and how their soul will continue to progress, how they will help their family and children heal and how they are still connected through love. It’s a tragedy that not one answer can explain, but I am certain that our loved one’s are being cared for and will greet us when we arrive on the Other Side someday. They will attempt to send signs that they are alive and well in their spirit body. For those left behind healing takes time, it’s a process of surrender while not giving up and accepting the things we cannot understand. We can possibly rest in the thought that our loved one’s are guarded by angels and that they are receiving the peace that they sought in physical life.
God Bless,
